Export Current View (All)

 

Clicking on the Export Current View (All) menu item will prompt you for an Excel file to save to, and then proceed to export the currently viewed Grid data to that Excel file.

 

This option will export ALL 'child' rows in the grid hierarchy.

Because of the limitations of the Excel display the child row data will not start until after the columns of the parent row have finished.

 

eg. Export Lots with Work Items as child rows...

 

 

Export Current View (Top Level Only)

 

Clicking on the Export Current View (Top Level Only) menu item will prompt you for an Excel file to save to, and then proceed to export the currently viewed Grid data to that Excel file.

 

This option will only export the top or parent rows.
