With any system built around the needs of a Quality System, the requirement for storing Documents of any kind is paramount. With this in mind the document management in QAntrol allows the user to store any kind of document, in a user-defined folder structure, as well as linked to a variety of QAntrol records, (eg. a Lot, or a Test Request).

 

The Document Management keeps track of revisions allowing the user to view any revision at any time, it also tracks recipients of a document and will automatically create the required Transmittal records when a new revision is added. Because of this you never need worry about a party having an outdated revision of a particular document, as QAntrol will inform you when, and to whom new revisions need to be sent.

 

To enter documents into the system, users can either select an existing file, or opt to scan a hardcopy straight into the system.

 

System administrators can secure the document repository by giving only read access to QAntrol users whilst giving the QAntrol application read-write access.
