Exporting data from QAntrol is a very useful tool when utilising Past Project's ITPs etc.

 

Export Data can be found at: Data Exchange Menu » Export Data.

 

Data Type / Format

 

Format Selection

QAntrol can export data in two different formats:

 

•Comma Separated Values, Tab Delimited, or User Defined (CSV)
This is a basic format and only includes the main information of the selected data type.
 

•QAntrol Data Structure
This will export all of the information contained within the selected data type.
EG. ITPs will be exported with all Tests, Required Results etc.

 

Data Type Selection

Simply select the data type you wish to export (eg. Inspection and Test Plans)

 

QAntrol Data File Details

Select the file you wish to export to either by typing it in manually or using the Browse Button '...'

 

Once you have the above information entered click Get / Show Data.

 

You should now have a list of all the data from the data type selected in the grid.

QAntrol will only export those rows that are ticked for export, so tick the rows you wish to include in the export (you can tick the column header tick box to select or deselect all).

 

Once you have the selection sorted out, simply click on the Export Data button at the bottom of the screen.

If all goes well you will be given a message saying the Operation completed successfully.
