Before you can start using QAntrol you will need to select a valid License, and setup at least one connection file.

To select a license click on the Main Menu button at the top left of the screen (QAntrol Icon) and select Database -> Select Licence.

After selecting a licence if you have not already connected to a particular database a connection settings window will appear.

 

 

 

Fill out the required details for the database connection, give the connection a title (to be displayed in the menu for later selection) and a filename to save this connection to.

If all the details are correct after clicking OK you will be taken to the project login screen.

 

You can create as many connection files as you want to swap between them without having to close QAntrol. You can also double click them in Windows Explorer to open that particular project with QAntrol.
