QAntrol locks records when they are being edited to stop unwanted overwrites from happening.

Because of this if a computer crashes whilst an editor is open the record remains locked as QAntrol never had a chance to unlock it.

 

If this happens, and you attempt to edit the record again you will be given a message saying that the Record is locked and cannot be edited.

To remove this lock you can select the Lock from the Locked Records section and Delete it.
