Before you can use Hold / Witness Point Release Requests in QAntrol you have to specify certain ITP Items to be of type Hold or Witness Point.

 

QAntrol uses the Client Type Verification field to identify whether an ITP item is a Hold or Witness Point.

 

Inspection and Test Plan Editor (Verification Section)

 

As shown above select the Client Inspection to be Hold Point or Witness Point accordingly, and tick the HP/WP Notification Required checkbox to have this item become available for notification in either the Lot Editor or the Hold / Witness Point Register.
