Adding / Editing Tests

Open the Test Editor (either click Add or Edit on the Testing Request - Tests tab)

 

The Test Editor has three sections: Test Details, Location and Results

 

Test Details Entry

These fields are completed at the time the Test is created

Test Number

YES

This is the Test Number that is automatically generated by QAntrol. This is a sequential number identifying each Test on a Test Request.

Total Qty

YES

When first adding a Test you can specify more than 1 in this field to create multiple tests of the same type.

EG. I need to add 3 CBR Tests - Select CBR as the test and Enter 3 in the Total Qty field. When you click OK on the Test Editor 3 CBR Tests will be added to the Test Request.

Test

YES

The actual Test on the Test Request - this is populated by the list of Tests defined in the Supplier Associated Work.

Cost Code


The Cost Code for this test if required

Rate


The Rate of the Test as defined in the Supplier Associated Work.

 

 

Location Entry

These fields define where the Testing should take place

Chainage


The chainage that determines the location of the Test

Offset


The offset from the string that determines the location of the Test

RL/Layer


The RL/Layer that determines the location of the Test

Delivery Docket


If required you can link this test to a Delivery Docket in the case you are testing a delivery.

This would more likely be done via the Delivery Register.

 

Results Entry

These fields are filled out when the results are received by the Testing Supplier

RESULTS GRID


Each criteria method for the selected test will have its own row in the Results Grid.

You can simply enter the result values for each Criteria to update the Test Record.

Any comments about the Test and/or Test Results.
