Documents are sent via the means of the Transmittal Register.
Using this approach you can track who has been sent a particular document in the past, and therefore make sure than all subsequent revisions of that document are also sent to the required distribution list.
QAntrol provides a shortcut to creating Transmittals for Documents:
•Open the Document Manager found at Documents Menu » Document Manager.
•Group the Document Manager so that you can see all the Documents you wish to transmit in the one view.
•Select all the Documents you wish to transmit - Use CTRL and SHIFT keys for multiple selection.
•Click on the Create Transmittal button at the bottom of the Register - or alternatively right click on the selection and select Create Transmittal from the popup menu.
This will open the Transmittal Editor with the selected documents already added as Transmittal Items.
