Supplier Editor
Contents
The Subcontractor will need to be entered as a Company in the QAntrol “Company and Contacts” section of QAntrol (Please refer to Companies and Contacts) before you can create the Subcontractor in the Supplier Register.
The Add and Edit buttons on the Supplier Register will add a new Supplier and edit the selected Supplier respectively.
The following is an explanation of the fields found on the Supplier Editor.

The company record that relates to the Supplier. If you select <Add New> the Company Editor will be shown allowing you to add a new company without having to leave the Supplier Editor. Please refer to Companies and Contacts. |

This is the Code that is entered via the Company Editor for the company selected above. It cannot be changed here. |

Cost Code |
Default Cost Code, this field is used only where all items in a Subcontractor Schedule are to be managed under one cost centre. |

Description |
The Subcontract “Description” defining the work to be completed under this Subcontract (e.g. Reinforcement Supply) |

Creditor number that may apply to the Subcontractor |

Registers |

Tick the Registers that this Supplier will be linked to. This is to allow this supplier to be used in the selected Registers. EG. a Testing Supplier will only be selectable on a Test Request if the Testing Register is ticked here. |
Associated Work Tab |

All the associated work items (Supplier Schedule) for this supplier are shown in this tab. The following functions are available:
oAdd (Please refer to Supplier's Associated Work Editor) oEdit (Please refer to Supplier's Associated Work Editor) oRemove - Before removing any supplier's Associated Work Item make sure it has not been used in any other record, eg. a Test on a Test Request, or an Item on a Delivery Instruction etc. oChange Rate (Please refer to Changing a Supplier Rate) |
