Test Types need to be linked to a Testing Supplier in QAntrol to enable their use on Test Requests. The Testing Supplier first needs to be raised as an entry in the Company and Contacts register.
Then raise a new Testing Subcontractor in the PROJECT area under “Suppliers” in the sub-menu “Subcontractors”.

•Add or Edit a new Supplier from the Supplier Section in the PROJECT menu.
•In the “Supplier Details” window, select the Company, enter a Code and a Description of the services to be provided by the selected company, in the registers section tick the “Testing” box to link the supplier to the Testing Register.
•Go to the “Associated Work” tab and select “Add”, the “Supplier Work Details” editor will appear.
•Tick the box “Item is Test”, select the Test Type, enter a Unit of measurement which is usually each as this relates to the number of tests, enter the tender quantity (if known) and the cost rate for undertaking the test and select OK.
The Test Type will populate into the “Supplier Schedule” and now will be available for selection onto a Test Request
