Drawings are quite often the subject of RFIs, and as such are commonly attached to the RFI records in QAntrol.

 

QAntrol provides a shortcut to creating an RFI for Drawings:

 

•Open the Drawing Register found at Documents Menu » Drawing Register.

•Group the Drawing Register so that you can see all the Drawings you wish to transmit in the one view.

•Select all the Drawings you wish to transmit - Use CTRL and SHIFT keys for multiple selection.

•Click on the Create RFI button at the bottom of the Register - or alternatively right click on the selection and select Create RFI from the popup menu.

 

This will open the RFI Editor with the selected drawings already added as Attachments.
